Um complemento que promete ficar na história dos quadrinhos indies acompanha a caixa: um álbum com trabalhos de 25 quadrinistas, entre eles, Bill Griffith, o ´pai´ de Zippy the Pinhead, Sergio Aragonés, difundido em todo o mundo pela Mad, William Stout, um dos grandes nomes do underground americano, Jaime Hernandez (Love and Rockets) e Rick Altergott, de ´Doofus´.

Weird Tales of the Ramones é um dos melhores “box sets” do punk rock desde o famoso “caixãozinho” dos Misfits. São 85 faixas registradas entre 1976 e 1996.
Bem verdade que os três CDs compilados por Johnny Ramone não trazem assim grandes novidades. Ficaram de fora por exemplo clássicos como Chinese Rocks (talvez pela polémica apologia à heroína, tenha sido afastada pelo conservador Johnny) e “We Want the Airwaves”, que na época de seu lançamento mereceu um clip e tudo. Se bem que em se tratando de Ramones, qualquer coletânea, ou mesmo os shows que eles faziam, acabam deixando músicas marcantes de fora.
O grande ponto alto da compilação fica por conta de um livro de histórias em quadrinhos, trazendo os integrantes da banda em situações reais e curiosas. O material traz ainda, algumas charges, anúncios de produtos fictícios, como perucas dos Ramones, por exemplo, e uma história em 3-D.
A caixa traz também um DVD “Em Breve” que traz, finalmente, a videografia completa da banda (Este DVD foi publicado originalmente em VHS em 1990″Lifestyles Of The Ramones”).
Quem não gosta de RAMONES boa coisa não é !!!
